The Service provided by BuddIn includes the purchase of coins and reward content, which are digital elements of the user interface (a collection of images and buttons) that members can interact with. Coins may be used to send reward content to other members as a means of expressing appreciation, showing affection, or simply to attract their attention.
As components of code and images, coins and reward content are the intellectual property of BuddIn and are distributed under license to enhance your user experience (the "Licensed Content"). BuddIn is the sole owner of this intellectual property and retains all rights related to it.
By purchasing coins, a member acquires a limited, revocable, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable worldwide license to access and use the coins as part of the Service to engage with unique elements of the user interface (the "reward" buttons) and to communicate more effectively with other members. Any other use of the Licensed Content is strictly prohibited.
Coins are represented to users as small images within the standard user interface of the Service, while reward content appears as a series of buttons that enable members to achieve the aforementioned goal and interact with each other. When a user presses a "reward" button, it becomes visible to the recipient, who may take notice of it and potentially initiate a conversation with the sender.
The Licensed Content has no monetary equivalent, real-world value, or other financial worth and does not constitute currency or property of any kind. The Licensed Content may not be sold or transferred to third parties, including other users or members. It cannot be used outside the BuddIn Service nor exchanged for cash, goods, services, or anything of value. Neither members nor other users hold proprietary, ownership, or monetary rights to the Licensed Content, which remains the intellectual property of BuddIn. Due to its digital nature, users are not entitled to refunds for the Licensed Content. The Licensed Content is fully consumed immediately upon purchase and is displayed through the Service. You must not purchase, sell, barter, or trade any of the Licensed Content, nor offer to do so (whether for money, other consideration, or items of value, inside or outside the BuddIn Service). Both BuddIn and users agree that any such attempted transaction will be deemed null and void.
For the avoidance of doubt, the Licensed Content has no real-world currency equivalent and does not serve as a substitute for real currency. Neither BuddIn nor any other person or entity is obligated to exchange the Licensed Content for anything of value, including real currency.
BuddIn reserves the right to modify the Licensed Content at its sole discretion. These changes may affect its rarity, desirability, effectiveness, or functionality. BuddIn may also terminate or revoke a license and restrict the use of the Licensed Content at any time, for any reason or no reason, without prior notice or liability.
You are prohibited from engaging in or soliciting:
The exchange of Licensed Content for money, donations, or anything of value;
Requests for money, donations, or anything of value in exchange for the Licensed Content;
The offering or requesting of any items, including but not limited to merchandise, services, favors, or private conversations that may be associated with monetary value in exchange for the Licensed Content.
